Welcome Amit Dutta
I take this opporunity to introduce my friend and co-worker Amit Dutta. He has started blogging (more than i do) and is responsible for Ampersand Solutions. One of his most famous products is Web Counter which has crossed over 72,000 downloads on CNet Download website. Among the other ranges of products, Web Content Manager is a quick content management product ( his webiste runs on it ). Other products are Link Counter,Web Catalog and Web Tracker.

What is the future of Lotus Software?
Since a while there have been rumors about "Lotus Notes is dead". Mr. Ambuj Goyal in his recent speech at Lotusphere 2005 talked about the same. Talking about the latest milestones achieved, here is the counter attack :
"Half of Microsoft's base is still on Exchange 5.5, a seven year old platform. Microsoft has promised collaboration for last seven years in Exchange, but never shipped, promised Kodiak, but decided to kill the project, declared E12 as the future, but not any details.What is really the future of Exchange?"

No Search ???
Searching is one of the key features of any application/product. Many free blog sites offer search functionality but i am surprised with Blogspirit (the one hosting my blog). Although it has been provided in the admin panel, putting it onto the blog itself wouldn't be a big deal.

Google is Un-stoppable
I read yesterday about Google hiring the lead programmer of Fire Fox. Seems like Google is planning to create their own browser (it will be awesome). I frequently visit the Google Labs area and today i found this new search engine - Google Video. Worth a look.
